As a new member, there are a few quick steps you can take to get your account fully set up. Here’s a quick guide to help you get started:

🔹 Accessing Your Personal Account

Look to the top right corner of the page—you’ll see your name with a small arrow next to it. Click the arrow to open your account menu.

You’ll see four options:

🔸 My Account: Add your personal details here. It’s quick, and it’ll make using TeacherBuilt even smoother down the road.
🔸 My Orders: Keep track of all your past purchases in one place.
🔸 My Favourites: View all the resources you’ve liked in the Marketplace by clicking the heart icon ❤️.
🔸 Logout: This is how you sign out—but we hope you won’t need this button too often 😉

🚀 Getting Around TeacherBuilt

Let’s take a quick tour! On the left-hand side of your screen, you’ll see the navigation bar—this is your main hub for exploring everything TeacherBuilt has to offer.

Here’s what each option does:

🏠 Dashboard: No matter where you are, this button brings you right back to your main dashboard.
🛍️ Marketplace: Head straight to the Marketplace to browse resources, explore stores (including your own!), and make purchases.
💬 About Us: Want to revisit our story and mission? This takes you back to the About Us page.
🎁 Member Benefits: Check out all the perks and benefits available to TeacherBuilt members.
🛠️ Seller Benefits: Explore the tools and features available to TeacherBuilt sellers—it's all about helping you grow.
🏪 My Stores: This is your personal store HQ. Create, edit, and manage everything related to your TeacherBuilt store here.
📊 Analytics: Once your store starts gaining traction, this area will begin filling up with helpful data about your store's performance and your resource engagement.
📄 Resources: This is where you can create new resources and manage existing ones for your store.
📦 Orders Received: Keep track of all the purchases made from your store in one convenient place.
✏️ Blog: Want to share insights or updates with your audience? This is where you can write blog posts for your store.
❓FAQs: Answer common questions about your store, your products, and your process to help customers get to know you better.

🏪 Ready to Open Your Store? Let’s Get Started!

Creating your TeacherBuilt store is quick, simple, and totally customizable. Here's how to set things up:

🛠 Step-by-Step Guide:

Click “My Stores”: On the left-hand navigation bar, click the My Stores link.
Add a New Store: At the top of the page, you'll see a “+ Add New” button—click it to start building your store.
Follow the Prompts: You'll be guided through a few steps to enter your store details. Fill in as much as you can—don't worry, you can always come back later to make changes.
Your Store Starts in Draft Mode: Once you've entered the basics, your store will be saved as a Draft. You'll be taken to your store's template—it'll be a blank slate, ready for your creativity!
Edit Your Shop: Click “Edit Shop” to start personalizing your storefront. Each section has a purple Edit button—click it to upload images or fill in the recommended fields (like your bio, store description, banner, etc.).
💾 Save: You can save and return at any time—so take your time and make it yours! (This is also how you'll update your store in the future.)
Go Live! When you're ready to launch, head back to My Stores in the left-hand menu. You'll see your store listed with a Status button that says “Paused.” Click it, and it will switch to Active—this means your store is now live in the marketplace and ready for customers!

That's it! You're officially a TeacherBuilt seller 🎉 but your store is empty!

📚 How to Create a Resource

Have something amazing to share with the world? Let's walk through how to add your first resource to your store—it's quick, easy, and totally creator-friendly!

🧩 Step-by-Step:

Click “Resources”: Head to the left-hand navigation bar and click on the Resources tab.
Select Your Store: At the top of the page, choose the store you want to add the resource to (if you have more than one).
Click “+ Add New”: Right beside the word “Resources,” click Add New to get started.
Enter the Resource Name: Give your resource a clear, descriptive title so others know exactly what it is.
Upload Thumbnails: Click “Choose Files” and upload up to 5 thumbnail images—this is your resource’s visual preview, so choose images that stand out!
Write a Description: Tell potential buyers what your resource is, how to use it, and why it’s awesome.
Select Category, Grade, and Subject: Use the dropdowns to choose the most relevant options—this helps others find your resource in the marketplace.
Add Keywords: Think like a buyer! Add keywords people might search for when looking for a resource like yours.
Set Your Price: You decide the value—whether it's free or paid, the choice is yours.
Upload the Resource File: Now upload your actual resource file so it's ready to go.
💾 Click Save – This step's important—don't forget to click Save to keep all your hard work!
Publish Your ResourceAfter saving, your resource will be in Draft Mode. You'll be taken back to your list of resources—just hit Publish when you're ready to make it live!

And that's it! 🎉
Your resource is now ready to be discovered by educators across the platform. Whether you're just getting started or already filling your store, every resource helps make a difference.

Select Store	Choose which store the new resource will belong to.	Resources are tied to specific stores—this helps with analytics and organization.
Add New (Resource)	Begin uploading a new resource.	You can upload multiple resources at once for batch creation.
Resource Name	Title your resource clearly and descriptively.	Clear titles improve discoverability in the Marketplace.
Choose Files (Thumbnails)	Add up to 5 visual previews of your resource.	Eye-catching thumbnails can dramatically boost clicks and sales.
Description Field	Explain what your resource includes and how to use it.	Detailed descriptions reduce refund requests and increase buyer confidence.
Category, Grade, Subject	Tag your resource accurately so it shows up in the right searches.	Accurate tagging helps your resource reach the right audience faster.
Keywords	Add relevant search terms to help buyers find your resource.	Keywords can be curriculum terms, topics, or seasonal themes.
Price Field	Set your own price (or make it free—it's up to you!).	You can change your pricing anytime without republishing the resource.
Upload Resource File	Attach your teaching resource for download.	PDFs, ZIP files, and Google links are all supported formats.
Save Button	Save your progress before exiting.	You can always come back to finish later—just don't forget to save first!
Publish Button	Move your draft to live status when you're ready.	Once live, you can still edit your resource and keep improving it!
